If you become aware of transactions on your account statement that were debited twice, that you did not make, or for which you did not receive the corresponding product or service, you can object to these debit card transactions. To do this, please proceed as follows:
 

1. Please contact the trader first before reporting the transaction to us and try to come to an agreement directly.
2. If you cannot reach an agreement directly with the trader, you must file a claim with us within 30 days from the receipt of the account statement, together with all the related documents (emails, letters, information regarding phone calls, receipts, etc.).
3. Once you have sent us the complaint form, we will carry out the investigation regarding your claim.
4. If your claim is accepted, we will transfer the amount to your account without any further communication.
5. In case any additional explanations or documents are needed to process your claim or if your claim is rejected, you will be contacted by Credit Suisse advisors.

Please note that many parties are involved in the investigation and that clarification can take up to three months.

For Maestro cards this service is not available online. Please call +41 848 880 844 to order a replacement card. 

Please note that this request carries a fee (CHF 20) and that it will take 3–5 working days to produce and mail the card.

The Debit Mastercard is a debit card like the Maestro card. With a debit card, payments are debited from your account immediately. You can use the Debit Mastercard worldwide to make cashless payments at all Mastercard acceptance points and withdraw cash from ATMs – in contrast to the Maestro card, you can also pay in online shops.
 

With a credit card, amounts are not immediately debited from an account, rather the client receives a monthly credit card statement with charges from the previous month. The client can then pay part or all of the credit card bill.
