General Information on the Foundations
Assets are managed by UBS Asset Management Switzerland AG for most investment groups.
Most of the Board of Trustees is composed of representatives from Swiss pension funds. This ensures that investor interests are protected and that founder UBS Switzerland AG is independent.
There are also several Investment Committees that are likewise primarily composed of external representatives and are tasked with monitoring the implementation and assessment of investment objectives as well as diversification and the risk/return profile of the investment groups.
A unit of UBS Switzerland AG that is separate from Portfolio Management monitors compliance with the investment guidelines on a daily basis.
Alexandrine Kiechler has been the CEO of the UBS Investment Foundations 4 & 5 since 2015 and is actively supported by a team of seven.

The UBS Investment Foundation 4 was founded in 1974 by former Schweizerische Kreditanstalt. We offer this extensive range of products to all zero-rated second-pillar institutions domiciled in Switzerland and Pillar 3a bank foundations.

UBS Investment Foundation 5
The UBS Investment Foundation 5, which was established in 2006, specializes in collective investments that mainly invest internationally and benefit from tax advantages in various countries, as long as the investor base is limited to traditional pension funds. Non-registered institutions without statutory benefits in the case of retirement, disability, and death or Pillar 3a foundations are therefore not permitted as investors.
