2021 Share Repurchase Program (completed)
On December 30, 2021, Credit Suisse Group AG (Credit Suisse) completed its 2021 share buyback program (Share Repurchase Program) which commenced on January 12, 2021 and was suspended in the first quarter of 2021. Under the Share Repurchase Program, Credit Suisse has repurchased 25,087,000 of its shares on a second trading line on the SIX Swiss Exchange for a total of CHF 305,193,092 at an average purchase price per share of CHF 12.165.

Change of purpose
Other than originally announced, CSG's Board of Directors has decided not to cancel the 25,087,000 shares repurchased under the share buyback program by way of a capital reduction. Instead, it is planned to use these shares exclusively for servicing employee participation plans.

Share Repurchase Program 2020 (completed)
On December 30, 2020, Credit Suisse Group AG (Credit Suisse) completed its 2020 share buyback program (Share Repurchase Program), which commenced on January 6, 2020 and was suspended in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the Share Repurchase Program, Credit Suisse has repurchased 28,446,000 of its shares on a second trading line on the SIX Swiss Exchange for a total of CHF 324,993,871 at an average purchase price per share of CHF 11.43. The repurchased shares were approved for cancellation by means of a capital reduction at the Annual General Meeting 2020, and cancelled in July 2020.

Share Repurchase Program 2019 (completed)
On January 3, 2020, Credit Suisse Group AG (“Credit Suisse”) announced that on December 30, 2019 it completed its 2019 share buyback program, which commenced on January 14, 2019 (the "2019 Share Repurchase Program"). Under the 2019 Share Repurchase Program, Credit Suisse repurchased 79,818,000 of its shares on a second trading line on SIX Swiss Exchange for a total of CHF 1,000,244,961 at an average purchase price per share of CHF 12.53.

Share Repurchase Program 2007-2010 (terminated)
On May 4, 2007, the Annual General Meeting approved the buyback of own shares of up to a maximum of CHF 8 billion of purchase value.
On October 16, 2008, Credit Suisse Group terminated this program, having repurchased and cancelled a total of 49.7 million shares for CHF 4.1 billion, or 52%, of the approved CHF 8 billion.The attached files (PDF and Excel format) show a weekly summary of the total number of shares repurchased via the second trading line, the repurchase amount in CHF as well as the average price paid per share.
Share Repurchase Program 2005-2007 (completed)
On March 16, 2007, Credit Suisse Group announced that it has successfully completed the share repurchase program initiated on May 9, 2005. Credit Suisse Group repurchased 87,789,000 of its shares. This corresponds to a total repurchase value of CHF 6 billion.
