Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia (“CSSA” or the “Company”) is a closed joint stock company (single shareholder company) registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under Commercial Registration number 1010228645 dated 1 Safar 1428H (corresponding to 19 February 2007).

CSSA offers various innovative products and services designed to meet the investment and financial needs of its clients and is authorized by the Capital Markets Authority to conduct the following activities in or from the Kingdom:

CSSA holds license number 08104-37 dated 15/04/1432H (corresponding to 20 March 2011) issued by the Capital Market Authority (“CMA”) - previously license number 08100-37 dated 21/09/1429H (corresponding to 21 October 2008).

The company operates with a capital of 737,500,000 Saudi riyals, which was approved by the Authority as a capital increase on 09-26-2019. The capital is divided into (73,750,000) shares, the value of each share is (10) Saudi riyals.

What happens after you contact us?

When you contact us with a complaint, we will ask you for details of the problem, the more details you can provide will help us resolve the matter more efficiently. We will do our best to investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible and will let you know the results.

Wisam H. Alfreihi Chief Executive Officer and Head of Investment Banking and Capital Markets

Wisam joined Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia in March 2020 and was appointed as CEO in March 2021. Wisam also hold the position of Head of Investment Banking and Capital Markets at Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia, Wisam worked as an investment banking manager at Saudi Fransi Capital.
Wisam also worked for 10 years in the Capital Market Authority, during which he held several positions, the last of which was Manager of Offering, Mergers and Acquisitions Department. Prior to the CMA, Wisam worked at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency for a year in the Banking Inspection Department.
In 2015, Wisam was seconded to the International Organization of Securities Commissions (“IOSCO”) for a year, an international organization that is a standard setter for securities regulations globally. He worked as a consultant in the Emerging Markets Committee.
Wisam holds a master's degree from Nova Southeastern University and a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University in the United States of America.

Manon Gaeta
Chief Operating Officer and Head of Client Management

Manon Gaeta has held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia since August 2022 and Head of Client Management since January 2023. Manon Gaeta started as an Account Manager with Credit Suisse in London in 2010 and has since also held the position of Legal and Compliance Officer for the DIFC Branch and Head of Compliance for the Bahrain Branch.
Manon Gaeta started her career in Structured Finance with Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking.
Manon Gaeta holds a master’s degree in law from City Law School and a bachelor’s degree in business from Bayes Business School in the United Kingdom. Manon Gaeta is also a CISI certified Private Client Investment Advisor and ACAMS certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.

Wael H. AlRasheed
Chief Finance Officer

Wael joined Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years in the Finance industry. He has dedicated more than 10 years of his career to specializing in Audit & Internal Controls. Prior to joining our organization, Wael held esteemed positions at renowned financial institutions such as Deutsche Bank SA, Merrill Lynch SA, UBS SA, among others, where he served as the Head of Finance. Wael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Management Systems from the Open University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration in Finance & Accounting from the University of Liverpool. Additionally, he holds several professional certifications, including Certified Management Accountant (IMA-USA), Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis (IMA-USA), and Certified Compliance Officer (Financial Academy-KSA).

Badr AlMeeman
Head of Brokerage and Sales Trading

Badr AlMeeman’s career spans trading, investment and client management, market research, operations oversight, and risk management.
Having held significant positions at esteemed financial institutions like Credit Suisse and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Riyadh, Badr is an expert in trading operations management. He has successfully introduced and managed high-touch, program trading and direct market access services while driving trading automation initiatives.
Educationally, Badr AlMeeman is an alumnus of the University of London – Royal Holloway College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & International Business. In addition to this, he possesses diplomas in Applied Technical Trading and a CISI-accredited diploma from the UK's Society of Technical Analysts, of which he is a full member. Furthermore, Badr is also a member of the Swiss Association of Technical Analysts.

Marcel Huber
Head of Investment Consultants & Sales Management

Marcel Huber has held the position of Head of Investment Consultants & Sales Management since September 2022. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, he worked in other global financial institutions such as UBS AG, HSBC and Leichenstein Landsbank AG. Marcel Huber spent 16 years in UBS AG in different international locations and functions.
Marcel Huber has extensive experience in wealth management, which he gained from his work as a Relationship Manager, Portfolio Manager, Wealth Manager, Business Manager, Deputy Desk Head in Private Banking and Investment Advisor / Consultant.
Marcel Huber has +30 years of experience in the field of finance and holds a diploma in business administration from the FHS University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and a master’s degree in financial strategy from the Said Business School at Oxford University in the United Kingdom.

Hussein bin Ahmed Al-Hunaidi
Head of Operations

Hussein Al-Hunaidi has been the Head of Operations Department at Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia since 2009.
Hussein Al-Hunaidi has more than 22 years of experience in the field of managing investment operations, banking operations and treasury, as well as managing and implementing public and private subscription operations, where he held the position of Director of Operations Department for a number of well-known financial institutions, such as Al-Arabi Investment and the Kuwaiti Global Investment Company in Riyadh.
Hussein Al-Hunaidi holds a Bachelor's degree from the College of Industrial Administration, Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

Dr. Walid S Abanumay
Chairman of the Board - INDEPENDENT

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration, Arab Insulation Company "Awazel", Rawafed Al Joud Investment Company, Abanumay Industrial Company, and a board member of Solidere International.
He has nearly thirty years of experience serving on the boards of more than twenty local and regional companies, both public and private.

These companies include SAMBA Financial Group, SODIC (Six of October Development and Investment Company), Ghabbour Auto, SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company (formerly Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company "SAFCO”), Madinet Nasr for Housing and Development, and others.

Dr. Abanumay obtained a PhD in Business Administration (Majoring in Finance) from Southern Illinois University after completing his master’s degree in management information system.

Mr. Bruno Daher
Vice Chairman - NON-EXECUTIVE

He joined Credit Suisse in August 2006 and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, responsible for Investment Banking, Asset Management and Private Banking, and Head of Private Banking for the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Sub-Continent.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, he spent 21 years at Merrill Lynch, holding several leadership positions in private banking client coverage.

Bruno holds a BA in Economics from the Boston College School of Arts and Sciences and an MBA from the Boston College Graduate School of Management.

Dr. Tariq Al Naeem
Member of the Board – INDEPENDENT

CEO of Water and Utilities Technologies Company and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of both EDAA and Bayan Credit Bureau, and the International Cooperative Insurance Company.

His previous professional experience includes serving as a board member and CEO of Medgulf Insurance, a board member of the Saudi Arabian Capital Market Authority (CMA) , and an undersecretary at the Ministry of Commerce. He has also held several leadership positions in the financial sector, such as General Manager of Asset Management Services at the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) and General Manager of Strategy at Al Rajhi Bank. He has also worked in payment systems management at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA).

He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of New South Wales in Australia, as well as a master's and bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from King Saud University in Riyadh.

Mr. Mohammed Hijazi
Member of the Board - NON-EXECUTIVE

He holds a master’s degree in international Commercial Law from the University of Hull and a bachelor’s in law with honors from the University of Jordan.

He joined Credit Suisse as Head of Legal and Compliance for the Middle East and North Africa region in 2004. Currently, Mr. Mohammed serves as the CEO of Operations and General Counsel for the Middle East and Africa region at Credit Suisse - Dubai branch since November 2015. He is also an active member of several boards of directors in the region.

Before joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Mohammed held various positions, including a legal advisor in Jordan and a senior legal advisor at HSBC Bank Middle East since May 2000.

Mr. Majid A Al-Gwaiz
Member of the Board - NON-EXECUTIVE

Mr. Majid joined Credit Suisse as CEO of Credit Suisse Riyadh Branch on July 1, 2020. He has extensive experience in corporate banking and the banking sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a primary focus on lending, financial services, credit risk, and strong relationships in both the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Majid held several leadership positions, including at Al Rajhi Bank, Saudi British Bank (SAB), and Riyadh Bank. His most recent position was the General Manager of Corporate Banking Group. He has over 27 years of experience in corporate banking and credit risk.

Education: bachelor’s in administrative sciences - Specialization in Financial Accounting, King Saud University, Riyadh - 1994.

Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia’s offering spans across three divisions namely International Wealth Management, Investment Banking Advisory and Equities Brokerage.

Wealth Management:
The Wealth Management clientele includes individuals as well as corporates. The current platform enables the wealth management team to provide advisory services that conform to Credit Suisse’s investment vision. We offer investment recommendations and investment plans that are tailored to each clients’ risk profile and appetite.
These investment products include structured products and investment funds managed by Credit Suisse and third parties. CSSA also offers discretionary portfolio management with one Investment Manager and one deputy on the ground supported by Credit Suisse global research and analytics.

Investment Banking:
Investment Banking provides investment banking solutions to meet clients’ requirements in various fields in the financial markets including initial public offerings, debt instrument offerings and mergers and acquisitions. We also cooperate with the global expertise of Credit Suisse to provide high-quality investment banking services to our clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Brokerage Services:
The Brokerage business focuses on augmenting execution capabilities and market knowledge in order to serve QFIs and investment enterprises and to support their requirements to access the domestic stock markets. The current platform aims at serving investment enterprises and providing the best execution capabilities and direct access to KSA markets.
